SYCAMORE – Forty-four students from Sycamore High School and 43 students from Sycamore Middle School were selected to participate in the 2012 Illinois Music Educators Association all-district orchestras, bands and choirs.

The All-District Jazz Festival was held at Rochelle Township High School on Nov. 10. The All-District Band, Orchestra and Choir festivals were at DeKalb High School on Nov. 17.

Students in the All-District High School Choir were sopranos Aubry Nelson, Elizabeth Watson, Brigid Crawford, Sara Diemer and Emily Flower; altos Laura Knuth, Teagan Overhaug and Maddie White; tenor Alex Riley; and bass Dustin King.
