DeKALB – Sgt. 1st Class Jason Earl is the new center commander of the U.S. Army recruiting station in DeKalb.

Earl, who has served in the U.S. Army for more than eight years, is excited about his new challenge and the opportunity to become involved in the community, according to a news release from the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion-Milwaukee. Prior to assuming his new position, Earl was a station commander in Las Vegas, Nev. and was an active participant in the community.

“The Army has been a wonderful experience for me and my family, and we have met so many people who have had positive influences in our lives,” said Earl.

“Now, my goal as commander of the local Army recruiting center is to continue to offer such opportunities to those who also wish to serve their country.

“I’m here to serve as a resource and to answer their questions.”
