DeKALB – CST Storage is committed to providing a safe working environment for all its employees. To that end, the company recently introduced the members of its 2013 Safety Committee. Several new team members recently completed the Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) 10-hour training program.

“This group will bring a wealth of safety knowledge to the rest of our team and help continue to ensure that safety is our number one priority,” said Ellen Svehla, safety coordinator for CST Storage.

The focus of this year’s team will be improving safety programs through continuous review and update of housekeeping and injury prevention guidelines, safety trainings and developing safety incentive programs.

Located in DeKalb since 1975, CST Storage is the global leader in the manufacture of glass-fused-to-steel tanks. The company’s first priority is to provide a safe working environment for its employees.
