GENOA – The Genoa Lions had a successful Carnation Days fundraiser in April. Lion Flower Chairman Gene Bradford ordered about 200 dozen carnations from Everything Floral in Genoa, which sold them at pennies over cost so that the Lions Club could use the profits for local charities and scholarships. Bouquets of a dozen carnations were sold for $10 each.
