Bluegrass show collects school supplies

DeKALB – The fifth annual country music show to collect school supplies for disadvantaged local children will be held Sunday, July 21.

The show will feature live country, gospel and bluegrass music. Admission is the donation of any type of school supplies, such as pens, pencils, glue, crayons, notebooks and backpacks.

Donated supplies will be distributed by the Salvation Army to needy children in DeKalb County.

The show will be from 1:30 to 5 p.m. July 21 at The House Cafe, 263 E. Lincoln Highway in DeKalb.
