To thank Huckleberry's Pet Parlor for its help with the Read to a Dog program during summer reading, the Sycamore Public Library dedicated a copy of "Dog-Gone School," poems by Amy Schmidt/photographs by Ron Schmidt, to the parlor. A dedication label on the book reads, "Put your paws together! Thank you Huckleberry's Pet Parlor for your help with Read to a Dog, Summer 2013." The collection of poems and puppy pictures is shelved in the library's juvenile poetry collection.

What do you think of bus trips to sporting events?
I'd go; it's easier than driving
No thanks; I don't want to ride to the game with a busload of strangers
