SYCAMORE – Laurie Guest with Solutions Are Brewing will present “Influential Communication” at the October Kishwaukee Women’s Network luncheon.

Right words said at the right time produce results in all aspects of your life. This humorous, fun, and content-rich program teaches how to overhaul communication styles and rebuild with strength. The tools provided will restore trust in teams, construct better leaders and help individuals build better communication skills with customers and colleagues.

“This is a great topic that everyone can benefit from, regardless of your product or service,” said Rose Treml, executive director of the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce.

Guest’s unique laugh-while-learning approach brings humor with a mission to professional speaking engagements. Her authentic style and impromptu wit, customized to each audience, guarantee impactful and memorable events.

“Laurie delivers the perfect blend of high content, energy and humorous entertainment. With her experience in the health care industry, she knows what it’s like to work in a demanding environment,” Treml said.

“Laurie brings a humorous speaking approach with practical solutions for workplace challenges.”

The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Regale Center in Sycamore. KWN is a network of over 100 businesswomen who meet monthly to network and create a more effective exchange of leads.

“Women play a fundamentally important role in creating healthy communities. The increasing presence of women entrepreneurs and women business leaders leaves no doubt about their impact on our economy,” Treml said.

“I believe as a chamber we can be instrumental in advancing women’s economic opportunities, and that is why we created KWN over 10 years ago.”

The fee for the monthly luncheon and program is $15. Reservations are required; call 815-895-3456.
