Two quilts hang in the window of the Genoa Public Library last week were among many quilts that displayed throughout the downtown business district as part of the fifth annual Quilt & Fiber Arts Walk. The event was rescheduled from earlier in the year because of bad weather.

Lecturer Leslie Goddard (left), a member of the Chicago Civil War Roundtable, examines a quilt made by Nancy Danz of Genoa (right) prior to an "Unraveling the Civil War Quilts" talk Goddard gave at the Genoa Public Library last Thursday. The talk was part of the fifth annual Quilts & Fiber Arts Walk held last week in downtown Genoa. Danz said she made the quilt about two years ago in a class in Hampshire.
