5K supports programs for the hard-of-hearing

DeKALB – The fourth annual Hustle for Hearing 5K run/walk will be held on the nature trail at Hopkins Park on Saturday, April 5.

The Student Academy of Audiology hosts this walk to benefit deaf and hard-of-hearing services at RAMP Center for Independent Living.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. Runners begin at 9 a.m. and walkers at 9:15 a.m. There will be water stations at the 1 1/2-mile mark and at the finish line. There will be first and second prizes for men and women. Registration is $25. Register online at www.active.com/running/dekalb-il/hustle-for-hearing-2014.
